PTC Parents & Teachers Committee
The Parents and Teachers Committee (PTC) is there to promote a sense of fellowship and community between school and home through a range of social and fundraising activities.
Any parent or teacher may be nominated for the committee. The PTC raises funds for specific projects at the school. Over the years, these projects have included interactive whiteboards, shading for our sports fields, water fountains, and play areas, as well as equipment and games for Primary, Middle, and Secondary Schools. PTC projects are decided annually by the committee.
Our PTC was instrumental in organising the Baobab Fireworks event, an annual highlight at Baobab College until 2019.
The PTC regularly supports events, performances, and initiatives, including the Friday Market, which takes place at the front of the school every Friday.
All parents are warmly welcomed and actively encouraged to participate in PTC events and initiatives, whether or not they are committee members.
