All students are encouraged to study three A Level subjects. More able students will be supported in following four courses.

An introduction to the A Levels programme by staff and former students is available on our A Levels microsite. Visit the A Level options site.
The entry requirements for Year 12 AS are 5 A* - C in IGCSE including English and Maths, with B grades in the intended subjects for A Level. We also accept students who have followed other exam systems, with similar attainment.
In Year 12, students will commonly study three or four subjects for AS Level. In Year 13, students usually do just three subjects to A Level.
Each subject has five teaching periods a week per subject. For each lesson of study students are expected to have one hour of personal study. Class sizes are small, and this encourages good and supportive working relationships between staff and students.
