Position 1: Primary School Maternity Cover
We are looking to recruit an Early Years Teacher for a maternity cover starting in January 2025.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with a recognised postgraduate teaching qualification.
Minimum experience: Suitable for an experienced teacher or an Early Careers Teacher.
The following criteria will be of advantage to a candidate:
- An investigative, play based practical teaching approach
- International teaching experience
- Passionate and energetic teacher
- Good ICT skills and experience of VLE
- Ability to work as a team member
- Commitment to the wider life of school and Baobab values

Position 2: Part-time Secretary to the Board
Baobab College is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Secretary to the Board starting February 1, 2025. This role is essential in supporting the Board's activities and ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the Board, including preparing and distributing meeting agendas, minutes, and other documents.
• Coordinate Board meetings, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Board activities.
• Assist with communication between Board members and other stakeholders.
• Manage Board correspondence and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Support the implementation of the Board’s strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within an educational or non-profit organization.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Flexibility to attend meetings outside regular working hours as needed.
