1. Head of Middle School

Looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of Head of Middles School at Baobab College, a top-level private international day and boarding school with a British curriculum.

Start date August 2026

Our school offers a world-class education to students aged 2 - 18 years old from diverse cultural backgrounds, on a beautiful campus and with a warm and welcoming community. We are looking for a Head of Middle School who can help us maintain our high standards, taking us to even greater heights. As the Head of Middle School, you will be responsible for leading and managing Middle School Staff, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably within an international school setting. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, passionate for education, and a commitment to providing the best possible experience for our students.

  • A suitable bachelor's degree in education or a related field
  • A postgraduate degree in education or a related field, such as a Master's or Doctorate in Education

Minimum experience:  

  • Experience in a senior leadership position in a school.
  • A strong understanding of the British curriculum and its application in an international context
  • Experience in managing a diverse and multicultural staff team
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
  • Excellent communication, listening, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing effective educational programmes
  • A track record of delivering outstanding academic results
  • Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to student and staff well-being

2.Primary School Early Years Teacher

We are looking to recruit an Early Years Teacher starting in August 2026.

Minimum qualificationsEarly Years Practitioner.

Minimum experience: Suitable for an experienced teacher or an Early Careers Teacher.

A suitable candidate should:

  • Provide a warm, positive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued, safe, and supported.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, ensuring learning is personalised to meet individual needs, and maintain accurate records. 
  • Build strong, respectful partnerships with parents and carers, providing regular communication and encouraging family involvement.

The following criteria will be of advantage to a candidate:

  • An investigative, play based practical teaching approach with a passion for continuous provision
  • International teaching experience
  • Passionate and energetic practitioner
  • Awareness of current pedagogies and practices
  • Familiarity with Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and supporting documents
  • Commitment to the wider life of school and Baobab values
  • Ability to work as part of a strong and dedicated team 
  • Good ICT skills and experience of VLE

3. IT Technician (1)

At Baobab College, technology plays a central role in supporting excellent teaching, learning, and administration. Our IT Technician will be an integral part of the team that maintains reliable systems, supports digital learning, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations across the school’s devices, infrastructure, and software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive technical support to staff and students across the school campus.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ICT equipment including laptops, desktops, printers, projectors, ICT labs, and classroom technology such as interactive boards.
  • Support and maintain the school network, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
  • Assist in managing user accounts and other related school systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and security checks to ensure system reliability and data protection.
  • Maintain and coordinate equipment repairs or replacements.
  • Support whole school IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades and deployment of new technologies.
  • Provide basic ICT guidance to staff and students to enhance digital skills.
  • Uphold Baobab College’s commitment to safeguarding, professionalism, and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT support or a similar technical role (experience in a school environment is an advantage).
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking skills.
  • Familiarity with educational IT tools and AV equipment is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a positive, service oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

4. Part-time Counsellor/Well-being (1)

We are looking to recruit a Counsellor and Well-begin Starting in August 2026.

Minimum qualifications:  Qualified Counsellor and Well-being Practitioner

Minimum experience: minimum of 2 years in a similar or related field of work.

An opportunity has arisen for a student support counsellor/Well-being practitioner to join the team of professional staff at Baobab College.

Requirements:

  • Ability to offer services as a consultant
  • Qualified and Registered Counsellor
  • Experience and interest in working with children of all ages
  • Experience of working with children from multicultural and international backgrounds

5. Psychology/History Teacher (1)

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree with a recognised post-graduate teaching qualification.

Minimum experience: Suitable for an experienced Psychology/History teacher

The following criteria will be of advantage to a candidate:

  • Teaching of A Level Psychology and/or History
  • International teaching experience
  • Experience with Cambridge International programme
  • Master’s degree or other higher qualification
  • Passionate and energetic teacher
  • Good ICT skills and experience of google classrooms or other VLE
  • An investigative, practical teaching approach
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Commitment to the wider life of school and Baobab values
