As we continue to develop, we are pleased to have the following opportunity for enthusiastic, committed professional to join our team at Baobab College.  We currently have a vacancy in the following area:

1. Cleaning Supervisor (1 position )

A Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning team and
to ensure high standards of hygiene and efficiency across
facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of cleaning staff
• Create and manage cleaning schedules
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance
• Train and mentor staff on cleaning procedures and equipment use
• Manage and spot check the cleaning materials and request replenishments
• Handle customer complaints and special cleaning requests
• Ensure staff follow health and safety protocols

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in cleaning supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety standards
• Ability to manage teams and delegate tasks effectively
• Grade 12 Certificate and any other relevant
  certificates

2. Cleaner (1 position)

To be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments such as offices, schools, or hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning designated areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning)
• Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues
• Handle heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
• Dispose of waste and restock supplies
• Follow health and safety regulations

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
• Physical stamina and attention to detail
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• High school diploma or equivalent
