Year 13 student Anish Balasubrumanian has completed an impressive research paper: 'The Impact of COVID-19 on Zambia's Economy'. The article was published in full by the Daily Nation newspaper on 24th September 2020.

Anish has taken advantage of time available to him during school holidays and home schooling, to engage with the Economic Association of Zambia as a research assistant. With much time spent on Zoom in order to complete his research, Anish has put together a comprehensive overview of the economic situation in Zambia in the context of COVID-19.

The paper includes a summary of short-term and long-term measures that may be put in place to assist both the economic and social situation in Zambia. This has been peer-reviewed by the Business Studies department at Baobab College and by the Economic Association of Zambia, who approved the paper for national publication.
